I moved to North Carolina in 1996 when the US Army brought me here. I grew up in Houston, TX and loved every minute of it. But when the opportunity to jump out of planes, and get paid to do it arose….I had to leave my boots behind.
My husband is from Cary, so we have stayed in the area ever since. I went to North Carolina State University and acquired my degree in Animal Science. I love school, and I am a huge nerd at heart. I spent nearly a decade in Cancer Research, of which I am very proud. My most profound accomplishment however, is my two children. Being a mother is my most challenging and rewarding experience. My oldest daughter is on the Autism Spectrum, and I learn from her everyday.
After spending years in research, I took an inventory of myself and realized I needed something. Something was missing, or lacking. I have tons of energy, and I needed to apply it in a way that was satisfying. That led me to becoming a REALTOR. I did some soul searching and found that the single biggest factor that led me to happiness was very simple yet profound. I needed to know that I could do something to make a difference in the lives of the people around me. Something immediate and significant. For many, buying or selling a home is the largest financial transaction of their life. I find great pleasure in being a part of that. I want everyone I work with to walk away feeling as though it was easy, that they were cared for.
